@ Rob, shame you were so busy being the perfect host and organizer, wanted to talk but you were flitting about all over the place
Was good on the Saturday night at the fire, no time then for chatting but we made some awesome sounds with you hang playing ![]()

Though I did promise my wife a visit to London too, if we make it. Been her lifelong dream to get back to her roots, so to say. So a few days in the country, a few in the cities. ![]()

same from me: thanks so much to Rob & Kelly for making this hangout such a great get-together event (thanks Kelly also for the tent, saved me a lot of worries:-). It was even better than last years gathering!
Also it was nice to to jam and meet forum members in person, like lost, sounds-like-me, pulp fiction, ohmrythm and funky, nothing beats real life meetings and it defenetly made my year.
with nearly half the people coming from 9 different countries, why not remane it "hangout international" in 2009?

Umm, that would be me. We spoke about a hand reamer for making a hole for an elder flute. Ha ha, interesting to note that I fit the above description too.

hey @CaughtRedHanded,
it was great to finally meet you in person as well! It was such a great weekend, in all aspects! Do you remember the sun starting to shine on us when we were all playing in the train station in farnham? amazing...
Offline
@ Sergio (Lost): same here, great talks and hangjams, will never forget your 20 minute good night hang song on sunday at 2 am in the morning, don`t forget you promised to post it on youtube soon:)
And our last jam at the station with Rusty, Ed, Spyros and Sabina, I took pictures with hear camera (hopefully including the sun shine moment), & will ask her to post it here. luckily we all missed the train or it would have never happened ![]()

I love unpredictable momments..! specially when they involve nature ![]()
The thing about that "good night song" is that is was played in Swarup's hang... which is a totally different scale from mine...! I can't do anything even simillar to that in my Hang... my lowest note is like the 4th lowest note on the IH and almost all 2nd generation hanghang... so I can only play like that in Hanghang that are different from mine..! I enjoyed that tune very much as well... but I can only post something simillar if Swarup commes and visit me here in Portugal..! that might take a while ![]()
But I will try to post some of my tunes in my hang on youtube... as soon as I get a chance to have a cammera at home for one or two days! ![]()
I aprecciate the support though Roland
will you be attending this new year's gathering?
Regards to all ![]()
